I don't know if any of you guys have ever spent your whole summer working full time with multiple jobs. It dosen't sound like much fun but the pay checks are very rewarding. The feeling of having money all the time when you want it is awsome. The part that bothers me the most is when I'm whilling to sacerfice all my free time in the summer to work and make money and then have someone come up to me and try to tell me what to do with my money. Not only do I find it rude but I also found that it makes me quite pissed. I would like to know where people think they have the right to tell me what to do with my money when I'm the one saccerficing all the time to do stuff that I enjoy. So in return I like to spend some of my pay check on things or going somewhere that makes me happy.
for instances buying new hunting and fishing stuff or taking a weekend trip in the summer.
I feel that if i'm the one making the money then i'm the one who has the right to spend it.

what should the drinking age be.
As most of you know the legal drinking age in Vermont is 21 years old. You have to stop and ask yourself is that really the right age. Is it right that someone like myself who's going to be in the military by the time i'm 18 and be putting my life on the line but I cant have a beer if I want one.
I also don't think its right that when you turn 18 your old enough to vote for a new leader and have important responsibility like that but you cant have a beer if you want one.
It's things like that where you have to ask yourself if 21 is the right drinking age or should it be lowered to 18. I personally feel that if someone is old enough to pick up a gun, join the military, and possibly lay there life down for there country then they should be old enough to have a beer if they want one.
There are also some other factors that I take into mind that make the drinking age 21. If they lowered the drinking age to 18 you have to stop and ask yourself, how many high schoolers are 18? If they lowered the drinking age to 18 there would be far more high school parties and there would be far more drunk driving accidents. It would also be alot easier for young kids to get alchohol. which could lead to more alchohol related fatalities.
so its up to you to ask yourself what the right drinking age is.

The Iraq war
To start off I would just like to say no matter what your views on this war are just take the time to read my blog with an open mind.
I have never given full support to the war in Iraq, I think the war has its good side and its bad side.
No matter whether you think the war is right or wrong u should never criticize the soldiers and blame them for it, its one thing if u wanna take out your disgust on the goverment.
The soldiers that fight the war are doing it for there country and cause there told to. they are not fighting the war for there own simple amusement. The fact that soldiers are whilling to pay the price of laying there lives down to protect our countries interest is the ultimate sacrifice and people should respect that no matter there view on the war.
